GENDER LIBERATION MOVEMENT (GLM) is an emergent and innovative grassroots and volunteer-run national collective that builds direct action, media, and policy interventions centering bodily autonomy, self-determination, the pursuit of fulfillment, and collectivism in the face of gender-based sociopolitical threats.
NO MORE DYSPHORIA is a queer-run non-profit organization created with the goal of helping transgender & non-binary individuals pay for major aspects of their transition. Since 2016 they have been able to provide aid to over 100 individuals through their transitions. They aim to help in any way possible, whether it be donating a binder or helping fund Hormone Replacement Therapy (along with anything and everything in between).

First of all, we have a website, obviously! Nothing fancy (until I make it fancier) but it’s nice to have a place to share updates that lives outside the unfriendly confines of social media. Pretend it’s 2004 and bookmark this site. And update your AIM away message while you’re at it.

We’re playing New Friends Fest ’25 in Toronto! First show in Canada ever! ON THE MIGHT OF PRINCES! The Flyers traded Scott Laughton to the Leafs so he could give us some intel on Toronto. He said nice things.
We’re also playing Best Friends Forever in October! I don’t really drink or gamble, but if anyone would like to ride a couple roller coasters and/or play pinball, lmk! Truly honored and astounded to be playing this! I’m going to be like a fan who was granted backstage access and I apologize in advance to anyone I corner and fangirl on (Mac from Superchunk, I’ve done it before AND I’LL DO IT AGAIN).
If someone could book us on a fest called something like Getting To Know My New Friends Really Well Fest in between just flesh out the developing friendship narrative, that would be great.

Quick tour merch update! We’re going to reprint the Denise shirt we did for DIY Super Bowl a couple years ago. All proceeds from that shirt will go to The Trevor Project. They’re most well known for their LGBTQ+ youth crisis hotline, but also engage in peer support, public advocacy/education, and research on behalf of the community. Queer youth have been in the center of this administration’s crosshairs this year, and it’s unfathomably crucial for orgs like The Trevor Project to be able to carry on their work. As a (fairly) stable trans adult in charge of her own life and medical decisions (for now?) I’ve felt pretty darn close to needing a crisis hotline lately, so it’s vitally important this exists for kids.
Lastly, personnel updates! Nate has some other obligations this year, so Chris Diehm is now an official member of the Snowing family! Chris has been our close friend since almost the beginning (of the band, not time itself), and they’ve played in such groups as our beloved 1994!, Thin Lips, Earth Telephone, etc…
Nate’s still in the band! We probably wouldn’t have been able to play most/any of these shows this year otherwise, and this really gives us flexibility to do more next year! Or play shows with 3 guitarists! Or eventually play a show with zero original members someday! A girl can dream.
